Prof. Raghunathan Rengaswamy is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras. At IIT Madras, he is the Dean of Global Engagement and also one of the founding members of Robert Bosch Center for Data Science and AI. Prior to this, he was a Professor, Chemical Engineering and co-director of the Process Control and Optimization Consortium (PCOC) at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX USA, Associate and full Professor at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY and Assistant Professor at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. He was also a visiting professor at Purdue University, USA (2001), and spent summers as visiting researcher in other universities such as University of Delaware, USA and University of Alberta, Canada. Rengaswamy’s major research interests are in the areas of Data Analytics, Fault Detection and Diagnosis DD), Sensor Placement (SP) algorithms for FDD, Fuel Cells and Droplet-based Microfluidics.

Prof. Shankar Narasimhan is currently a professor in the department of chemical engineering at IIT Madras. His major research interests are in the areas of Data mining, Process Design and Optimization, Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) and Fault Tolerant Control. He has co-authored several important papers and a book which has received critical appreciation in India and abroad. Together with Prof. Raghunathan Rengasamy, he has a course on "Data Science for Engineers" in NPTEL, for which more than forty-five thousand students have enrolled in three offerings. Another course "Python for Data Science" has an enrollment of 70,000 students in two offerings.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Suchitra Veeravalli is the Chief Executive Officer at GITAA Pvt. Ltd. She holds a PhD from IIT Madras in the area of knowledge management. She received a Masters degree in Information Technology from Clarkson University, USA. Her previous positions include: GM and VP Administration at GDPL, Chennai, India and, Senior Analyst at the Office of Research Services, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA. She was a co-founder of Syseng LLC, a startup in Lubbock, Texas.
